Halloween Carnival Event News

Thank you to all of you for making this carnival - my last one a really great and fun one.

A great partner in Ramona and great support from all the PTA board members , as well as all the chairpersons working so hard before the big day, those  on the front lines and those stowed away  working hard during the event all the clean up help  and even today in the aftemath-  thank you all.

I hand my torch to Christamaria for next year  and beyond. She will need a great partner in crime .

Please let me know of any issues you encountered that I should address or note for the future.

Please turn in your reimbursment warrants into Julie voigt for rapid repayment- this week prefferred.

Please write up a brief summary of this year and your area, how it's done, what you might do better, differently or delete.

Please then turn in your areas binders to the parent room , either in the small divider box on counter or the big clear  tub with orange top

Please let me know if you are willing to chair an area next year again ... if the pain is not too fresh

Halloween Carnival Ticket Pre-Sale Sellers- we need volunteers to sell carnival tickets before and after school during the week of October 19th, sign up for the whole week or just take one shift, any time you can give is appreciated.

Next year, Ramona and Dawn will be leaving Sunset View. We need two to three individuals who will 'shadow' Ramona and Dawn to learn the steps in putting on one of the most successful carnivals in San Diego! Please contact Ramona asap. obramona@yahoo.com

 

It is cake baking time for the carnival!  All students are invited to participate in the cake decorating contest on Friday.  All cakes must be in the auditorium by 9:30 on Friday morning.  Parents may help with baking, but cakes must be decorated by the students.  These cakes will be used for the cake walk at the carnival on Saturday.  Awards will be given out in several catergories in each grade.

We need a Costume Contest Chair ASAP! This is a fun job! You will assist in getting the children on stage for the costume contest per grade, and help emcee.
